Mercedes Benz Unveiled Another Tesla Fighting Electric Luxury Sedan: The Mercedes Benz AMG® EQE

With the unveiling of the all-new 2023 Mercedes-Benz AMG® EQE, the famous luxury brand is set to deliver another Tesla competitor. The Mercedes-Benz AMG® EQE will sit alongside the Mercedes-Benz EQS, another all-new vehicle debating this model year. Together, they will prove tough competition for the electric sedan market. But what sets the Mercedes-Benz AMG® EQE apart from the rest?

What We Know So Far

As the Mercedes-Benz AMG® EQE is set to release as a 2023 model, there is a limited amount of information at the moment. Yet, there is still enough to get a good grasp of what to expect. For instance, drivers can expect a single electric motor on the rear axle, which will generate 288 horsepower and 391 pound-feet of torque. This will allow the Mercedes-Benz AMG® EQE to reach 60 mph within 5.6 seconds and reach a top speed of 130 mph.

An all-wheel drive (4MATIC®) model will be offered with a second motor, upping that horsepower count to 400. A range of more than 300 miles is also expected.

The interior of the Mercedes-Benz AMG® EQE will feature an elegant design overall. The cabin will brim with rich materials and generous space for passengers and storage. Amenities such as a panoramic sunroof, massaging functions, and ambient lighting will be available for a more unique atmosphere.
