Mercedes-Benz Unveils Many New Electric Car Prototypes

Mercedes-Benz is ready to accelerate its plan to make its lineup filled with electric vehicles. These six new EQ electric models are set to be released to production in 2021 or 2022. Production includes:

  • Mercedes-Benz Sindelfingen Plant (Germany) - Factory 56 is set to produce the launch of electric luxury sedan EQS in the first half of 2021.
  • Mercedes-Benz Rastatt Plant (Germany and China) - Is set to produce the first all-electric compact SUV EQA in 2021.
  • Mercedes-Benz Kecskemet Plant (Hungary and China) - Is set to be the location for the second all-electric compact SUV EQB in 2021.
  • Mercedes-Benz Bremen Plant (and in China) - Is set to produce the launch of electric EQE business sedan in 2021.
  • Mercedes-Benz Tuscaloosa Plant (USA) - Is set to produce SUV variants EQS and EQE in 2022.
